This simply designed pendant is modern and elegant. The use of sophisticated honey color offset by a plainer color of milk makes this pendant a favorite. Milky-white opaque glass colored by streaks of rich honey makes glass look almost like enamel. This pendant will perfectly accentuate the outfits in the shades of brown, yellow, and orange and will look great with your yellow-gold jewelry. Suspend it from your favorite gold necklace or wear it on a black or brown cord to create a stylish modern look.
Measurements: This Murano Glass pendant measures just over 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Milk and Honey bagel-shaped pendant is a part of Milk and Honey Collection. This well-designed collection is created using a combination of colored glass and Lattimo technique invented in Murano in the 16th century that allows to create opaque glass objects of milky shades and requires mastery that only Murano glass-makers are capable of. The end result is a blend of warm natural shades of off-white and golden-brown that flow into one another seamlessly within gleaming glass. Each of these accessories speaks of timeless elegance and true artistry much like Venice itself. Each item comes with an attractive velvet pouch and a certificate of authenticity.

Because each item is a unique work of art made by hand, slight variations of colors and patterns are possible.

What you see is what you get. Fun. I might get the earrings.

Workmanship

Lampworking technique of glass-making, which dates back to ancient Egypt, was revived by Murano glass artisans around the fourteenth century. This technique is based on heating up a blob of glass under a small flame from a lamp or a torch until it reaches malleable state, then blowing and using simple tools or just hands to create various forms and designs. Lampworking allows the artisan's creativity to blossom, as copper sparkles, various minerals, and pieces of glass cane are fused together in this process to create rich colors and imaginative patterns that are always unique. Murano Glass masters often use lampworking method to create small jewelry, such as pendants, earrings, or rings, as well as keychains, barrettes, pillboxes, and figurines.
