The elegant beauty of Murano glass shines in this uniquely shaped pendant, fashioned with a milky white lattimo base with shimmering swirls of copper particles. Using centuries-old Avventurina glass-making technique, Murano glass masters created this artistic pendant that channels Venetian elegance and Italian style.
The pendant measures 2.5 inches in length and 1.5 inches in width in its widest part.

Horseshoe-shaped pendant is a part of Avventurina Honey Collection. This sophisticated collection is designed in warm shades of amber and honey with golden sparkles using the special avventurina technique that is unique to Murano glassmakers. Each dazzling accessory is perfect for dressing up your daily attire, and ideal for accentuating your eveningwear. Wear several pieces as a set and you are guaranteed to stand out in a crowd. Each item comes with an attractive velvet pouch and a certificate of authenticity.

Because each item is a unique work of art made by hand, slight variations of colors and patterns are possible.

Workmanship

Lampworking technique of glass-making, which dates back to ancient Egypt, was revived by Murano glass artisans around the fourteenth century. This technique is based on heating up a blob of glass under a small flame from a lamp or a torch until it reaches malleable state, then blowing and using simple tools or just hands to create various forms and designs. Lampworking allows the artisan's creativity to blossom, as copper sparkles, various minerals, and pieces of glass cane are fused together in this process to create rich colors and imaginative patterns that are always unique. Murano Glass masters often use lampworking method to create small jewelry, such as pendants, earrings, or rings, as well as keychains, barrettes, pillboxes, and figurines.
