Inclusions of vivid Millefiori flowers, tender lime-green hue, and generous 24K gold dusting on the base of this vase remind of the opulent interiors of grand Venetian palazzos. The amazing look of millefiori glass is further enhanced by the unique "fazzoletto" shape ("handkerchief" in Italian), invented by Murano masters to achieve exquisite weightlessness and elegance of handkerchief folds in glass.
This beautiful authentic Murano glass vase was painstakingly created by hand using only traditional Venetian glass-making methods by a third-generation Murano maestro, whose works are featured at exhibitions, private collections, and in museums worldwide. The Venetian vase / bowl is approximately 6 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter at the top. It has etched signature of the master on the side. Attached sticker further proves its Murano origin, as does the certificate of authenticity that comes with the vase. Because each item is a unique work of art made by hand, slight variations of colors and patterns are possible.
The translucent lime green is really enhanced by the millefiori on the side. A great addition to our glass "shelf of murano" in our built in wall bookcase/media center.
